recap [Apr. 8th, 2001|05:41 pm]
Roy Janik
Let's see...Friday night I crashed your party, Saturday I said I'm sorry, Sunday came and trashed me out again... Oh, wait, that's Billy Joel. Friday night found me in the company of Eric, Kareem, Wes, James, and Sara. We started the night off at a Mexican restaurant on South Congress, and I ate chips and salsa until I exploded. After my various body parts were picked up and reassembled, we made our way to 6th street. This time we started at the Daiquiri Factory, the place where I first started my 6th street adventures oh so long ago. I had something horribly strong. We then travelled to BW-3, talked to Lindsey off and on, and played that little bar video-game that Wes is so good at (no, not Golden Tee). The night wrapped up at the Alehouse.

Saturday was uneventful. Horribly uneventful. The highlight of the day was when I made some awesome chocolate waffles using leftover Godiva cocoa mix. mmm, waffles. I felt like I wanted to kill something all day for no good reason, so the cats kept their distance. Wes and I headed to a park at some point, and found yet another Amtgard group fighting. We also checked out some apartments.

Saturday night, I forgot all about Cha-chee's heterosexual gladiator party (sorry!), so I headed out to 6th... on my own! After an hour or so trying to park, I eventually found a spot on 11th street! Argh. I drifted as if magnetized towards BD Riley's, and upon coming inside, was greeted by the sounds of a celtic band I had ne'er seen before. There were two fiddles, a mandolin, a drum and guitar. The guitarist was also the vocalist, and she was quite good. One of the waitresses recognized me, and asked where my friends were. It's nice to be known.

Today, I did Nummy Muffin Cocoa Butter, and it went off without a hitch, pretty much. I went home, ate more waffles, went back to campus, got a camera from KVRTV to film some Bastard Squad stuff. I also ran into Colleen driving her car! It's a small world, eh? Went to Momoko, got some coconut milk tea, and came home.

So pretty boring weekend, eh?

I hope you didn't do too much damage to Colleen's car.
