Hey Chris and Tamara? How's your TaeBo experiment going? Are you guys doing the Basic workout? After all this time, I find that the Advanced is still too much for me.

Yeah, we're on "Basic" right now. We did the "Instructional" 3 times, I think, and then moved on to "Basic."

"Basic" is severely kicking both of our asses, but I'm happy to report that I got through the entire thing last night without missing a beat. Yay.

I'm suprised by how aerobic-y it is, you know? Here I thought Tae Bo was all about punches and kicks, very martial-artsy, but in reality, there are tons of aerobic moves. I'm not complaining, though.

I'd say I need to do "Basic" a couple more times, solidly, before I move on to "Advanced."

"Do you feel like you can pro-tet yourself??"

Yes, Billy Blanks. Yes I do.

It sounds like you have a different 4-video DVD set than I do. I've got the Taebo Live! DVD. But regardless, Advanced is a major killer. For one thing, it's an HOUR LONG. For another, they do lots of painful leg things. One day I will be worthy.

Oh, yeah. The one we have has a special "Tae Bo Live" clip, so it must not be the same one you have. In ours, there are just people behind Billy in some non-descript studio. I'm not quite sure how long the "Advanced" work-out is, but the "Basic" one is about 25 minutes long.

And I HATE HATE HATE the leg lifts. I dread the moment I realize they're next.
