If the cats are bothering you, I can tell them to stop calling and harrassing you. [Jul. 5th, 2001|11:26 am]

Well, I got my booty kicked in Scrabble by mayzie last night. That's not supposed to happen. However, I was both delirious and asleep at the time, so maybe that's a valid excuse. And I still think that maizes isn't a word!

"Doctor, I've got these horrible corns on my feet!"
"The Indians call them maizes."

I don't think so.

according to dictionary.com, "maizes" in incorrect. Maize is its own plural. IE, we planted a bunch of maize.

I have to disagree. According to the second AND third editions of the Official Scrabble Players Dictionary (OSPD), it is an acceptable word.

Pfft. The only people who use plurals in Scrabble(tm) are those who are woefully short on any Scrabble(tm)-playing skills.
