|She sighs every day as she passes the way

somabrak blew a hole in my "talking loudly in public" plan to make my life seem fulfilling and interesting, I've been forced to resort to drastic measures. Last night after work, I drove to the top of my company's parking garage and practiced playing my concertina. I figured it was one of the few places I could practice without pissing anyone off. On top of that, it was a breezy, warm Texas night, and I had an extraordinary view of the 360 bridge and the hill country beyond. Romantic, eh? See, I do wild, interesting things. I AM NOT BORING!Since |
At any rate, I picked out the notes to "Do You Want Your Old Lobby Washed Down", a song from the late 1800's I believe, which is covered by the Flying Fish Sailors. I can now play most of the main melody haltingly and very slowly, and for all I know, in the wrong key. But hey, it's a start.
