Second, the Blind party is the worst idea ever. A party where everyone is blindfolded, and drinks out of little bottles. Fun fun.
That being said, I went for the first half. It turned out to be mostly harmless and funny, because if you tried to move you just hit random people, and the sound of the party was basically "ouch, oooh, who's that? Who's touching me" etc, etc... Just as things started to get slightly insane, I made my escape, since I had to do my show in the morning.
On the way home, I veered to Riley's, where I met up with Mindy and Haley for a few minutes. They were wishing the doorboy farewell, as it was his last night working there. Poor lad couldn't take being called the doorboy anymore. :) A lounge-esque band called the Lucky Strikes were playing, and there were some groovy dancers there. Also, the pirate and his girl were about, so I chatted with them for a bit. I learned 3 things during my brief 15 minute stay: 1) I really want to form my lounge band, Roy & the Roytones, 2) Mindy's a pretty damn good dancer (she danced with one of the suave older gentlemen), and 3) I really need to learn how to dance. Turns out it's a useful skill to have.
