BUH meeting went well. I spat out a bunch of ideas for events, and maybe one or two will actually see fruition. Also came up with an idea for a new bumpersticker, "My other car is a Jewish Carpenter." What?
Also, another batch of "I was in a wonderful loving relationship and all I got was this lousy t-shirt" shirts were made and sold, so they were in abundance at the meeting, proving once again that something good can come of anything.
After the meeting, Nicole, Mindy-lee and I ran to Madame Mam's Noodles and More, acquiring Dave on the way. Curry chicken soup goodness was enjoyed.
The next stop was the auditorium/classroom 4.102 in RLM, where George (a former intern from my team) was hosting a viewing of the MST3K episode, Manos: The Hands of Fate. George is actually from El Paso, so he knew a lot about the actors, the movie itself, and the locale. Good times, and loads of fun to watch on a giant screen.
Later that night, coffee was had at the 503, again with Mindy-lee and Nicole. We got to watch some guys playing chess with those timer/clock things, and I had fun trying to look artsy while reading "The Java Language Specification Second Edition".
