the day went off without many hitches...|
The demo for the 46 some-odd sales engineers (from ALL over the globe) went much better than I could have hoped. Every one managed to do a successful installation, which is saying a WHOLE lot. And it's good, since I was in charge of the product they used to do the install.
Relatively satisfied, I left for class. Of course, I had about an hour to kill, so banged on Mindy Leigh and Nicole's door until I was let in, at which point I promptly passed out. An hour later, I awoke and stumbled to class.
It's bizarre, but whenever I'm working off no sleep, I become amazingly chatty. I kept talking in class, offering my opinions and such. The same goes for the lab demonstration. It's like I hit some sort of weird surreal zone and suddenly become amazingly productive. Of course, I eventually pay the price.
After class, it was time to go back to Tivoli, this time for the reward... free food.
We were bussed to the Cool Water Cafe', a gigantic Northie establishment. I had some Guinni, and some chicken fried venison, and it was all free. And damn good. Plus, I talked to loads of people from all over the planet. Viva Planet Tivoli!
and now... sleep.6
