So we're making an offer of $172,000 on the house. It's listing for $179,000. To complicate matters, there are now two South Austin homes in the running:

And tomorrow we're going to look at about 9 houses near HD-43.

I still can not get over the prices of these houses! At least from the photos, these houses would be so way less expensive down here. Sheesh!

And if these houses were being sold in my area, central New Jersey near Princeton, they'd be selling for, oh...about $450,000.

In Austin, it's all about location. These two houses are pretty much smack dab in the thick of things. Or as close as you want to get, anyways. The two I posted today are a little cheaper, but they're on the "eastside", and we all know what that means.
