Hey Nicole!

Not only was the DX-7 *the* synthesizer of the 80s, but it also regularly goes for around 180 to 250 bucks on E-bay. I played with it, and it works great. The volume faderr is crackily when you move it, but once in position everything sounds a-okay. And the pitch bend wheel rocks my world. It cracks me up that you talked them down from 25 dollars to 20.

the end.

ahh yes

A classic piece the DX7 is. It was the first real FM synth, and just about everyone who played keyboards back in the day ran out and bought one. =] Yamaha recently started making an tabletop emulator of it (which is actually really good) with more knobs and stuff, but ironically it's more expensive than a used one.
