The devil never wins [Aug. 20th, 2002|12:06 pm]
Roy Janik
Eklektikos was fun. I was a little off during the first airbrake, but I hit my stride after that. John and I talked about what motivated all these bands to cover/parody the same song, and why the devil has so much gold. We also played the show's promo, the rap version, the accordion version, the accapella version, and the Charlie Daniels original.

KUT reminded me a lot WUAL, which isn't surprising. Very sedate, clean, and far more affluent than the respective student stations. If anything KUT was actually a little nicer than WUAL.

Way to go Roy- that's so impressive! From what I hear, that show is really tough to get onto-
I'm sorry I missed it, I didn't know you were gonna be on there, and I was asleep.
Hope to see you soon!

Re: Wow!

Thanks. I would have warned everyone ahead of time, but I had very short notice. It *did* help that John Erler was subbing for the normal host, John Alaei. We're not exactly fast friends, but I do know him from around KVRX.

Re: Wow!

John passed me a note in Pre-Cal the other day saying he wants your hot bod. You should go for it.
