Okay, so my scale has been known to lie. That much has been established.

But right now, when it lies, it says 189. And for me, that's phenomenal. My goal is 175, which is on the high end of my "ideal weight". The good news is, being broad-shouldered, I carry weight fairly well, so if I can get down to 180, I'll probably be feeling pretty good.

How am I doing it? Eating less and exercising. The tricky part is keeping up with the exercise bit when you're busy. Right now, I'm on vacation, so it's easy.

By the way, there will probably be a lot of livejournal posts by me today, so please forgive me. I've got a project to do, and as usual I'm procrastinating til the last possible minute. My apartment has rebelled against me by being cleaner than ever before, but rest assured I'll find something to do.

By the way, I just got a call from some guy inviting me to a seminar in Dallas. The name of the seminar? I kid you not, it's B2B & XML: Your pathway to ROI success The sad thing is, I know what all these stand for:

B2B= Business to Business (crap)
XML= eXtensible Markup Language (over-hyped)
ROI= Return on Investment (clever)

That doesn't mean, however, that I give a rat's ass about any of it.
