Hi, my name is Jennifer. I was wondering if I could have your permission to attempt to bring back Nummy Muffin Cocoa Butter. I will be attending the University next year, and Dave the Metal guy has pressured me into filling out an application. Nummy Muffin was one of my favorite shows years ago. I used to stay up late to listen to it (this was probably when I was in 7th grade or so). I would love to play some of the songs you guys did before you left us. Let me know if you are cool with me doing this, and if you could, let me know where I can get a copy of the MST3K Nummy Muffin song. Thanks!
Sorry for the delay on this. I hardly ever check my nummy muffin e-mail, thanks to the large amount of spam it gets. I've actually been talking to good ole Lemony Fresh Tami (copied on this message) about starting the show back up in Tuscaloosa. I do Nummy Muffin in Austin still, and I think it'd be hilarious to have two going on at the same time.
So yeah, I'm totally cool with you doing it. Would you mind having Tami for a co-host, if she wants in on the action? She doesn't bite. Well, okay, that's a total lie. She bites people all the time. And it hurts... a lot.
Anyhow, I think it could be a lot of fun, and we can even share stuff. If any bands play live on the Austin show, I'll send you recordings of the performances and such. And I'll give you some webspace on nummymuffincocoabutter.com, too.
My AIM screename is Zinereem if you want to talk and work out the details.
Oh, and e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org . I'll get stuff much faster that way.
Hey, you rock. That would be the greatest to have the lemonny one on the show. I really need some help finding the current popular bands. I don't really listen to any new music now, and I know the kids are going to request it. I love the old stuff, you know Fish heads, Istanbul, partical man, 18 wheels on a big rig. But I just don't know of any of the current artists. If you could send me a list of bands, I would most definitely check them out. I still have to put in an app at 90.7 though. Dave has been pressuring me to do it for a couple of months, but now I have the permission to do the show. Wow.... That would rock to meet Tami. And yeah, send me some live music, info, anything else that could help out. I want to try to make this show as good as possible. Thank you so much for your help.
So that's that. What say you, Tami? It seems she has the right amount of respect and fear of you. Up for destroying someone's preconceived notions of their idols?
