Nummy Muffin Prime Time [Jan. 14th, 2003|05:02 pm]
Roy Janik
The radio show I co-host (Nummy Muffin Cocoa Butter) is coming back on the air tonight. 7pm to 8pm on KVRX, 91.7fm. http://www.kvrx.org to listen if you're not in Austin.

It's funny!
It's whip-bu!
It's prime time!

Just me

Missed the show, but thought you would like to know about trees. Arbor day is a fantastic source for trees. You can get 10 trees with your membership. Then all you need is a little luck and a little poo. But then again, who doesnt?

Is KVRX only for students?
I had a radio show on a major station in Washington DC and I am getting ready to move to Austin.
I would love to host or cohost a little independent radio show.
Just wondering if you knew any insider info.

KVRX *is* only for students, yes. You're welcome to come on my show if you need to get a radio fix, though. Of course, I play comedy, which probably isn't what you're into.

There's another solution, though. KOOP is a community-run radio station that's open to everyone. We share our frequency with them, with KOOP on during the day and KVRX on at night. http://www.koop.org/

What kind of radio show did you do? And what kind are you interested in doing?
