Roy Janik
This is just a sampling of what Dave and I did yesterday:

That's right, we put up curtains. More accurately, we bought lots of fabric and curtain rods, mounted said rods, cut the fabic, and pinned the fabric to the rods. We still have to go through the daunting task of sewing the curtains, but without a sewing machine we did all we could. Hopefully Mindy will help us out in that department.

Also, it looks like I'll be getting a fence soon.

You can borrow mine if you can wait a week or so. Everything's in various stages of packing and organizing now, but once I get settled in the new place and unpack, you are welcome to borrow it.

Thanks, Wes. I may take you up on that. So you're going to have a REAL housewarming party for your new place, right?

Re: looks good!

I'm sure you will soon enough. I may be throwing a DM-1 1 year anniversary party, so maybe you can coordinate your next trip down for that.

I know how to sew, too!! *pout* I can help out if you can get ahold of a sewing machine. I'm fine with a straight needle, but that takes a long time.

Awesome. I think that Mindy's going to bring the sewing machine over Thursday night and teach Dave and I how to use it. You and Eric should join us, and we'll take turns sewing while the rest of us,ermm.. play dominos or watch Anime or something.

Thanks. The moons and stars make sense to me, but the triangles are just confusing. One of the other bedrooms has curtains that have all the presidents of the USA on them... patriotic AND educational!

Re:

yeah, i was wondering about the triangles. but maybe you could think of those as slices of cheese. ya know? moon? cheese? maybe not.

and patriotic/educational? man, that's the way to go!
