Remember about 2 months ago when I mentioned that I was going to try and lose 50 pounds? Well, I'm happy to say that today I reached the halfway point. My goal is 155. I started at 206.5, and today I weighed in at 180, even. So I guess I'm a little beyond halfway, but regardless, I've got 25 pounds to go. If you look at the graphs, you'll notice that the rate of weight loss has been decreasing, so I fully expect the second half of the journey to be more difficult. But you know what? Once I weigh 178 or so, I'll weigh less than I can remember weighing in oh, about 10 years or so. So really, as long as my weight doesn't increase, I'm a pretty happy camper. And once I reach 169, I'll no longer be "overweight", according to various BMI calculators and such.
As for the plan, I've pretty much stuck with it. I've had about 1000 calories day. Of course, lots of days involved guesswork. Also, I've been doing a morning workout routine (very lightweight) and sporadically going to the gym. The solid blue line shows what "rung" of the morning workout I'm on, and any time one of the little diamonds on the charts is yellow, that means I went to the gym and ran on the elliptical/goofball machine for 30 minutes.
