Today has been an excellent work-day, primarily because I spent most of it away from work. Over the past few nights I've been loading the new laptop with stuff I need to do my job. That includes Notes, Sametime, VPN access, CMVC, Eclipse, project source code, and more. But now it's all tricked out. So I spent the morning fixing defects in preparation for a meeting at 1:00, where we would go over defects. I had meant to go to a coffee shop, but I wound up just doing it in the yellow room. Somehow it felt different than working at my old desktop, though. So I ran to the meeting, getting there a bit a late, and when we came to my stuff, I was like "Oh yeah, I fixed the next 4 defects just now". After the meeting I went home, ate some tacos, and took the laptop to the Green Muse, where I am now. So I'm staring at a pond, listening to Portishead, and fixing defects.
It's pretty sweet.
