Soup Peddler soups coming tomorrow afternoon, so you're all cordially invited to the Moonbase for games and soup. Say 6ish? I'll provide the soup, you provide the bread.I've got two |
Here are the soup descriptions:
This is a Soup Peddler original. You can see how we make it here. Yes, it's another orange puree... we seem to do a lot of those this time of year, somehow. Main ingredients are onion, apple, carrot, and pumpkin, and it's topped off with brown sugar, mace, dried mango powder, and pear cider. It's got some cream in it. Vegetarian, not vegan. Happy Halloween. Boo.
This is inspired by the wide-eyed and wonderful Adil Benfdela, a Moroccan friend who used to work as cashier at the Pecan Food Mart here on South First. This one's going to go down in the record books, I believe. Check it out: Garbanzos, lentils, lamb, and fideo stew, spiced with cinnamon, ginger, and saffron. AND, and, it's got a yeasty flour mixture mixed in at the end. And it's lemony too. What else could you possibly ask for in food? It's your Ramadan soup for the year. Look out.
