DONE.

Done at last with NaNoWriMo and the first draft of my novel.

Here is the disturbing viking squirrel of victory.

Official NaNoWriMo 2004 Winner!Special shoutouts to Mojo's, Kareem, vacation, and caffeine for making this possible.

Power to the princesses.

I've now spell-checked the beast, synchronized the text with the word doc, and put the chapters in their proper order.
But if you have any intention of reading some of it, I suggest waiting until my first cursory grammatical pass-through is complete. Eventually I'll actually start editing it, but not this month, I think.

Hat's off

Congratulations.

Next year we will run the Turkey Trot while typing chapters to our novels on palm pilots.

Why do I get a shout out? I didn't do anything except distract you from writing.

Re: Hat's off

I need some speech to text software.
And a palm pilot.
And a plot.
Damn it all!

And to Roy, Congrats you over-achiever, you!

best lines so far....Funny that talking about how much something sucks can be far more entertaining than the thing itself. I'm sure a thousand stand up comics would agree with me.

also noticed (and just to help you out, not to point out)...fix agreement here..

The birds were awake and chirping. One of the cardinals still had a broken wings....

for the most part i was just reading but that stuck out...so far i fucking love it and im not one to pander to needs of back slaps and high fives!

He laughed in the self-reproaching way that only a cardinal can that he felt like a hatchling.

Crima hopped along her path. Her feet made no sounds a she skipped along.

It had what appeared to be a site up top, and a few too many blinking lights for my taste....i think its gun sight...not too sure though, hunters in elrod might be the only people to back me up on that, not a linguistic fearing crowd im sure.

They gave me used of the employee showers, and they somehow managed to dry my clothes

He was tiny, easily fitting on one had.

At length he found it, and stumbled out the pack falling hard on his hindquarters but managing to not damage the mirror, which was the important think.

. Little inconsequential things like where I going, how long I was staying, and what I was supposed to do once I got there.

I could see my hands, or my cat, or even the blurry visage of my nose. ....couldnt?

The clank of metal again bone was heard again and again.

Through it all could be hear the furious shrieks of the Undead Apes of Doom

I took about two seconds to weigh loyalty against survival.

you better finish this.

Awesome, Tami. Thanks so very much. It means a lot to me. I was just sitting down to give it a read-through, so your comments couldn't be better timed.
