Also, notice how that girl's number is ALMOST 31337. She's almost elite, I guess.

*shrug*. I did a lot of searching on this, and the only people who said anything about were people who said "Surely it must damage the hard drive". But I didn't find any examples of people who actually had done so. Been running for a month and no harm yet. And lots and lots of people on town lake have ipods. So we'll see.

apparently it's possible to fuck up your ipod if you are rough with it, that's why it's not "marketed" as something to use in exerdize (even though people make armbands for it.)
i never heard of anyone actually breaking one this way.

the only problem people ever called me about was their ipod skipping or acting weird after jogging. the easy fix for that is to hold down the Play and Menu buttons at the same time until it resets.

AIGHT

Speaking as a person who has had their iPod crash noisily onto the floor on myriad occasions in the year since acquiring it, I too can say that they are sturdy little fellows with a startling amount of resilience. Fear not.

hard drives just cant be ruined this way, when i got my first hard drive mp3 player in my car i did some checking of data sheets and the instontaneous g-loading that is safe is > 200

That should withstand pretty much anything save maybe throwing it at the floor.

They sell armbands for it...so...
People said the same thing about my microdrive in my camera...that it'd be easily damaged. Nope.
