No Pants Day Down Under [Jan. 23rd, 2005|12:47 pm]

[Tags|, , ]

This little blurb appeared in the Sydney Morning Herald on Jan. 22nd, 2005. Looks like the No Pants Day kick-off season has officially started. Which means we should update/re-do the website. I've made 2005 changes where appropriate, but the flyers still have to be updated, and I need to get all the pics from 2004 up in the gallery. The thing that freaks me out about these press clippings is the fact they're quoting text that I wrote. Shit I wrote is being read by people around the world. Crazy. Click on the article for a larger view. It's also in the online version of the paper.

No Pants Day

Wow! Did you invent No Pants Day? It's massive down here. Hamish and Andy (famous Aussie comedians) embraced it big-time. FYI I found you via Offbeat Bride and have been stalking you and your wife since. You guys are awesome.

Re: No Pants Day

yeah, we did!

At its height, we'd get sent pictures from France, The Netherlands, Iraq... all over. It was crazy to do radio interviews with people from the BBC about this ridiculous holiday.

These days, we've mostly moved on, but we still hear reports of celebrations from time-to-time. Awesome.

Nice to meet you!
