Meet my new ukulele. It's a koaloha soprano. It was first made in March of this year. Solid koa wood body, mahogany neck, semi-gloss finish, ebony nut and saddle, Schaller spring-loaded tuners, ~7" lower bout, ~13-3/4" scale. It also looks real perty.

And to show off the sound, this week's ukulele recording is an instrumental- I Dreamt I Dwelt In Marble Halls, from the opera The Bohemian Girl. Of course, this recording doesn't really show off the sound, because my current recording set up sucks. But you can see it in person the next time I have a game night.

I Dreamt I Dwelt in Marble Halls, Roy on ukulele, mp3, 520k

Next weekend I'll have an original tune for you. For now, I hope you find this auditorily pleasant.

hi there - I just moved to Austin from California and saw that you have a friend who recently moved to California from here. I think then that you should take advantage of the congruency and be my friend.

Now I want to hear you play Fear a'Bhata. This version of the lyrics sucks, but it has the basic score.

I have a two recordings of it if you need a reference; one on flute (with Gaelic lyrics) and one on mandolin (with English lyrics). But I excpect the lyrics to be performed in Gaelic by a drunken Kareem.

How about AAC format? I can convert them to MP3, but I'm lazy.
