|Read it and Weep.

It's short, it's visually interesting, it's depressing, and it's done.
Read the Golden Idol:
for a comic with advertisement clipping as a background, this is awfully sad.
but well done.
you deserve a ribbon, you should talk to Wes about that.
yeah, well, I sorta started with the backgrounds on a whim, so the next go around, I'll have more of a plan. I still like the contrast of the busy backgrounds vs. the final black panel. As for the ending, it's just where I saw it going, and I couldn't resist the urge to make a tiny cut-out tear.
Roy, that's seriously cool as shit. I really like what you're doing...
thanks. We should hang out more often, or at all.
It actually made me cry. That's beautiful, Roy. I didn't even see your entry title until after I started crying! Well done!
That's the best compliment I could receive. Thanks.
I would have shed actual tears but the dummy wouldn't let me. (ah ah red eyes *shudders and twitches*)
Short and sweet, this was. And uniquely and beautifully done. :)
The dummy steals all emotions and replaces them only with fear.
Dammit, Roy, that's too sad. Although I'm glad you left the creepy chicken puppet in the background.
You cannot resist the chicken puppet's power.
I am very impressed. You were able to make me care about the little pink dude and follow along. I especially like the effect the blue chain of people has on the strip. it acts like a visual and story thing turning point. I see your writing skills applied and am very pleased with your cuteness abilities.
