Watch to the end [Oct. 11th, 2006|02:19 am]

YouTube has finally hit the level of craziness/usefulness/joyousness for me that Napster had in its hayday. I'm at work right now, and while I wait for things to compile/load/etc, I've been searching for stuff. I've found a  lot of great things, including music clips from local bands like the White Ghost Shivers, The Asylum Street Spankers, and E Muzeki. I also found a documentary about one of my favorite bands, The Judy's.

Enjoy it while you can. Google just bought YouTube, and I imagine they'll be clearing the copyrighted stuff off over time.

Here is my favorite clip so far. I have this on VHS and I've tried to explain it to people. It's an old Vaudeville performer (Billy Reed, apparently) on the Spike Jones show. Watch until the end to see the pretty cowgirl flee for her life.
