see.hear.speak tonight [Jan. 18th, 2007|06:31 pm]
Roy Janik

see.hear.speak.two starts tonight. It's being joint-produced by PGraph and Coldtowne.

I'm in charge of, and will be hosting the HEAR portion of the festival, which happens tomorrow. This marks the first time since Nummy Muffin Cocoa Butter's demise that I've done anything novelty-music related on a large scale. Everything's coming full circle-

Here's the lineup for Friday:

Phil Aulie's Ukelele (songs)
Jerm Pollet (improvised songs)
Cocksound (rap)
Swingin' Sammy Gold and the Sultan
Jeremy Lamb (it's a surprise!)
Southpaw Jones (folk music)

Coolio Populore (faux-brazil)
Bill Stern (improvised songs)
Jeff Luna
Owen Egerton
Mr. Happy Ray of Sunshine OBGYN and a Purple Bear with No Birthday
Terp 2 it (rap)
The Brobdingnagian Bards (irish/celtic)

This all happens at Coldtowne, located at 4803 Airport Blvd, next to I Luv Video.

Just a warning, I wouldn't be calling Coolio a faux-brazillian in front of him. Fortunately he can't read this, but he has repeatedly been in disputes about his race in the past. Nationality can be as violent as turf wars in some countries, so be careful.
