Roy Janik
So it was 10:30 in the morning, and I was in Santa Fe, with nowhere to go. So I drove around to everywhere I could remember. Friend's houses, schools, parks, old hangouts, etc... I didn't stop at any of them. I was just surveying, man. Can you dig?

A few observations:

The new high school is HUGE and shiny and NICE... So large! Sound familiar, Tami and Colleen?

I was so bored that I drove by the house where my band (540) used to regularly rehearse at. The house was still there, but the garage we played in had been leveled and turned into a cottage, with a sign that read "Designing Women: Floral Arrangements and such". If only they knew what satanic music had eminated from that very spot.

Scott's old house was evidentally sold. There were tasteful X-mas decorations up. Gone are the days of giant plywood muppets. Somehow, I like the old style better.

Phil's house looks exactly the same.

Phil's grandma's house looks the same, though I can't help but feel there should be an outdoor stage in the yard. Ah, memories.

My house (4407 B-Bar Drive, Santa Fe, TX 77510), is still there, though occupied by strangers, of course. And there's still a huge oil well towering nearby.

I still haven't found what I'm looking for.

Designing Women: Floral Arrangements and such

Wasn't that the name of your band's first album? Maybe it was an homage museum of some sort.
