A house next door to Dinosaur Moonbase One (the lovely abode of Kaci and me) is for sale.
It was originally priced at $360,000 (!), but it's come down to $279,000, which is probably pretty close to what it's worth.
It'd be nice to live next to people I know and like.
I had no idea you lived in my neighborhood. Howdy!
$279K is still too expensive for me, though. :-(
Me too. I got my house 5 years ago, when things were a little cheaper.
One of the main reasons I hang on to my tech job is to keep my house. I know if I sell I'll never be able to buy in south austin again.
I wish we could afford a house! We are looking for a place to move back to in January and not having very good luck!
hmmm, I will keep an eye out.
Seems like a nice enough place, but HOLY SHIT - That is more than the price of my house times three.
It's all relative, I guess. My friends from California are amazed at how cheap it is.
Well, I don't really know much about Austin, except that it has City Limits. :-) I'm sure it's just the fact that it's a much bigger city than Greenville. Of course, you can drive five miles from me, to the other side of downtown, and my same house in that neighborhood would have cost at least twice what we paid for it. So, we just live in the 'hood. :-) And 'hood is always cheap :-D
wow, i paid 360 for the condo out here. if only moving back to atx was in the plans...
I'm sure you could find a condo for 360 in Austin if you looked. :)
That would rock, if there was a countrywide in austin.
for 279 out here, all I could get would be a 500 sq ft condo in the ghetto where the guy upstairs uses a hole in the floor as his toilet.
Surely there's another company you could easily hook up with here in Austin.
then you'd be one step closer to renaming the street something awesome.
