Man, everytime I retreat from improv for a night on the weekend, I always regret it immensely. I'm feeling marginally sick, so I figured I'd stay home and not bother to go watch Maestro tonight. Talking to Kaci, it turns out that it sold out the downstairs theater and was by all accounts a great show. Damn.

Not all accounts. Me, I've seen many Micetros I liked better. I thought the show had a weird dragging energy. A few fantastic moments, though. Bryan was indeed terrific, and Mike K had my favorite String of Pearls punchline I've ever heard.

Do you still have the contact info for the Judys? I met some guys from a record label that are dying to re-issue their stuff, and any unreleased things they might have.

Strangely enough, I think they just re-released their stuff on th 1st: http://www.wastedtalentrecords.com/

I'm pretty sure that Wasted Talent is just David Bean, as the contact info is in Pearland, where he's from, and I think that's the same record label that they put it out on originally.

Who knows. If it's just a small-time thing, maybe they'd be interested. It looks like only Washarama and Moo have been released on CD so far.
