Kaci's facial expression is nearly identical in all of these photos you've taken recently.
It twas roy's request of me.
there were many many more we didn't bother posting.
Wait a minute! Something is missing!...
There we go.
wow, that is some terrible art
Did you go to Marfa Ballroom? It was closed for installation when I was visiting but I've heard really good things about it.
The gallerists in Marfa are awesome, they all just want to haaaang. Actually everyone in Marfa just wants to hang. When I went our hotel had no internet and my phone didn't work, and everyone was so friendly, it is the ultimate high.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that was thinking this....also, it looks like a fun trip, and that photoshop ^^ is pretty good.
The marfa ballroom was unfortunately closed for installation when we were visiting too.
That art is part of some German turned New Yorker woman's emotional reaction to 9/11. I didn't like it either.
Yeah! We met a lot of nice gallery workers that were more than happy to talk to us.
do you remember what gallery those were in? i was looking at roy's flickr and it looks like they were in the chinati foundation??
They were in a gallery run by the Ayn Foundation, who also had a gallery with three giant Andy Warhol pieces.
Yeah, that was basically thwe worst art we saw there. The sad thing is that the entire gallery featured her art, and has been up since 2005, open of Fridays and Saturdays. Most of the paintings are HUGE.
